I chose this week’s font in honor of the kick-ass baby shower I know my big sister is throwing me this weekend.
This week’s font is:
A lovely retro font. It can be found at 1001 Free Fonts!
I’ve been using this font for years, but when I recently received an invitation to my baby shower in the mail carefully hand-crafted by my wonderful sister I fell in love all over again.
Didn’t she do a great job! It’s a 1950s themed baby shower and she chose the perfect font! (I can’t wait to come back and share all the shower details with y’all!)
Have a great weekend!
So apparently my belly grew this week. Majorly.
Nothing too exciting on the pregnant front this week. I read somewhere that my husband should be able to put his ear to my belly and hear the baby’s heartbeat. So of course I had him do that the other night before bed and it totally worked. He could hear the heartbeat and even feel its vibration. And we spent a good five minutes the other night just watching the kiddo do somersaults in my belly. We could literally see my stomach moving around in waves. Can anyone say alien?
My feet have definitely started swelling which is just swell. Haha. I guess I couldn’t really hope for anything less with being on my feet at least 8 hours a day at work. Oh and that three floor climb from the parking garage to the store everyday is turning into complete hell. Yes, I could take the elevator but it’s really the only exercise I’ve been getting lately so I’d feel guilty if I took the elevator. Instead, I’m apparently opting to huff and puff up the stairs that used to take 5 seconds to run up that now take me 5 minutes to slowly climb while griping the handrail for dear life. It’s crazy how fast things can change.
Oh this week he’s the size of a head of cabbage, in weight anyways. American cabbage? I’m not really sure although he’s larger than a Chinese cabbage. (That was so two weeks ago.)
My mom’s coming into tonight for my baby shower this weekend. My sister’s been working hard to plan it and I can’t wait!
My friend Liz, aka. Mrs. Beagle over on Weddingbee has been celebrating Lupus Awareness Month all month long and today she’s featuring one of my handmade aprons in a giveaway.
Please check out her blog, e.louise, learn all about Lupus and enter her giveaway. I mean, who doesn’t love free stuff?
Hey y’all! I thought I’d start a little weekly tradition by posting some of my favorite fonts. I don’t know about you, but I’m definitely what I’d call a font fanatic. Hope you enjoy this new segment!
This week’s font is
Don’t you just love it! It can be found and downloaded for free on dafont.com.
I discovered this great font last year when I was creating personalized wooden hangers for each of my bridesmaids.
Do you love fonts too? What are some of your favs? You never know, I just might have to feature them on a future Font Fanatic Friday!
I’m up to 29 weeks. Which means I’m almost 30. That just seems crazy to me. This pregnancy has gone really fast and really slow all at the same time for me.
The baby is the size of a butternut squash this week. It’s finally back to a vegetable I know! Not that I’ve ever eaten butternut squash but I think it’d be tasty.
I forgot to tell y’all that I passed my glucose test! With flying colors apparently, according to the nurse practitioner I met with today at my doctor’s appointment. Maybe, just maybe, being around sweets all day long at the bakery helped. Who knows.
Nothing really new to report. It’s getting more uncomfortable to sleep now. And bending over is just plain awkward. And I’ve noticed my belly getting in the way. I guess I didn’t realize quite how far it was sticking out. Whoops.
Oooo and my big sister is throwing me a baby shower (actually is co-ed so my husband and our guy friends get to come too!) next weekend. And my mom and step-dad are coming into town next week! I can’t wait. It’s going to be so much fun!
